2023 Wines
2023 wines include a Petite Sirah and Malbec from Windsor Oaks Vinyards and Sangiovese from Stone Barn Farm.
Weather this year has been different and so has held up harvest a bit.
Sangiovese was harvested on September 25th and had good sugar and nice grapes with very little raisining even though it was a little late.
The Malbec, which we have not done before got harvested on 10/9/2023 from Notre Vue Vineyards and was about 24° Brix and the Petite Sirah was harvested on 10/12/2023 at 23.2° brix. this makes the bulk of the crop about 2 or 3 weeks late. The waiting time is tough to endure as we keep hoping for no rain. There were 3 days of 90°+ weather on the last week of September which helped.
