1996 Cabfandel

a blend of Zinfandel(70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon(30%)

As our 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon came out quite heavy and strong, we decided to try a blend of the not so heavy Zinfandel with the Cabernet. So far this wine has a unique taste of it's own and seems very good. We bottled 6 cases of this on August 25th 1997.

This blend was so goood that we decided to make some more and now have a 15 gallon barrel of it blended and will be bottling it soon.
