2018 Merlot
This was an interesting year as we had been
being followed by a film maker (Joe Daniels)
creating a movie about small batch winemaking The name of the movie is
called
"Tiny Vineyards"
and was shown at the Sonoma Film Festival in 2019.
The grapes had gotten started harvesting just before I had gotten there and were
not quite ripe enough.
So we canceled picking for the day and started crushing and fermenting what we
had.
A week later, we came back and harvested more which all got blended together.
